Toyota has equipped the 2023 Sienna with both primary and advanced safety features. They include a blind spot monitoring system with rear cross-traffic alert. This system is designed to warn the driver when the vehicle in the next lane enters Sienna’s blind spot. The rear seat reminder uses the door sequencing logic to alert drivers if they forget cargo in the back. Sienna offers LATCH locations to add safety for smaller members of the family. Other standard features include ten airbags mounted on the front and rear seating.
Furthermore, the 2023 Toyota Sienna is equipped with the Toyota Safety Sense (TSS 2.0) that features the pre-collision system. This system detects vehicles, pedestrians, or cyclists and warns drivers to avoid collisions. Other features under the TSS 2.0 include lane departure alert, full-speed range dynamic radar cruise control, and lane tracing assist. Toyota Sienna also features automatic high beams and road sign assistance to detect speed limit signs and stop signs.
